I watched the final scene of season 5 of ‘The Chosen’ the other night. I was struck by the part where Jesus had a vision, while agonising in the Garden of Gethsemane, of Abraham and Isaac. He was able to tell them both ‘It will be ok!’. Not only did He know what the outcome would be for them …. but it also gave Him confirmation and content of what He was about to face!
Jesus is saying the same to you as you face your Gethsemane. ‘It’s going to be ok because I went to the Cross’ He understands your pain ….. grief ….. and fear ….. because He carried it and overcame it all. Let Him carry it! It will be ok!
