Sue’s Views
After 33 weeks of watching church on a screen ….. we finally got back together yesterday! And what a celebration! Of course ….. Church isn’t a building ….. or a particular group of people. In fact Covid has helped the Church to grow and spread out into homes ….. parks ….. beaches! And not only on Sundays! The Church infiltrates work places ….. shopping malls ….. neighbourhoods. It’s a global body of believers in Jesus Christ. It’s a family of brothers and sisters. You can go anywhere in the world and find them! That’s because Jesus lives inside each believer so we carry Him with us wherever we go.
“Because the God who said, Out of darkness light shall shine, is the One who shined in our hearts to illuminate the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God and not out of us.” 2 Corinthians 4:6-7
